Actually, the company has added ‘Kovid-19 layer’ features to the latest version of Google Maps to prevent infection of Kovid-19. According to the new update, Google Maps will provide the information of the crowded area to the people with the help of the local authority. With this new update from Google, people will be able to follow social distancing. Only Android and iOS users will be able to use this app.

Risk will be reduced from the Kovid layer
At the same time, to use the Kovid-19 layer feature, users have to go to the app and click on the layer button which will be in the search bar at the bottom right side of the app and after that users will have to click on the Kovid-19 Info. Let us know that earlier the company had added a feature about the Corona virus on Google Maps. In this, users can easily find the Containment Zone in India so that they can avoid going there.

Takeout and delivery orders will be seen live statusApart from this, India will also be able to see live status of takeout and delivery orders in Canada, Germany, Australia, Brazil and America through Google Maps app. This feature will work only when Android and iOS users go to the app and make a booking and order. In this, users will be able to book the order again from the map along with waiting time and delivery fees. Google has said that these new features have been added to the app in Google Maps, but currently only a few users will be able to use it. The company has also said that all these new features can be used in the coming time.

Google Assistant Driving Mode Features

At the same time, the company is also going to add Google Assistant Driving Mode features in the app which will be available only in the US. The company is also considering bringing it to India. Before getting out of the house with this feature, you will already know about the Kovid infected in public place and transport such as bus, train or more crowded places.
