The central government has banned websites promoting Khalistani activities.

The central government has issued orders to block 12 websites promoting Khalistan Activities. On accessing the banned websites, information comes on the screen that the Department of Telecommunications, Government of India has blocked it.

In the same sequence, the Central Government has issued orders to block 12 websites promoting Khalistan Activities (Restrictions on Websites). Some of these banned dozen websites were directly run by the Sikhs for Justice, an Illegal Organization. According to sources, the investigation revealed that pro-Khalistan content was present on these websites.

Blocks websites under this law
The Ministry of Electronics and IT has ordered a ban on these 12 websites under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act (IT Act). The Ministry of Electronics and IT acts as the nodal authority for monitoring cyberspace in India. According to sources, websites pbseva22, seva413, pbteam, pb5911, sfj4farmers.org, Sjf4farmers.uk, pb13, pb99, sewa13, punjabnow and sadapind.org have been banned. On accessing the banned websites, information comes on the screen that the Department of Telecommunications, Government of India has blocked it. Contact the administrator for more information.

Center banned SFJ organization

The Sikhs for Justice organization was banned by the Home Ministry last year on charges of involvement in anti-national activities. It is alleged that this organization was advancing the Sikh Referendum 2020 under its separatist agenda. In July 2020, the central government had banned 40 websites related to this organization, which were promoting terrorist activities.
