Who can be many Indians in Biden’s cabinet
Joe Biden Cabinate: The US may have given a ministerial berth to several Indian people in President Elect Joe Biden’s cabinet. According to the Washington Post, Biden’s top Indian-American adviser Murthy could be made the Minister of Health and Human Services and Professor Arun Mazumdar of Stanford University could be made the Minister of Energy.

Vivek Murthy is the co-chairman of the Kovid-19 Advisory Board for Transfer of Power. He has been a close associate of Biden regarding Corona virus cases. Similarly, Majumdar, the first director of ‘Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy’, has been Biden’s top advisor on energy-related matters, reports said. Apart from Majumdar, former Energy Minister Ernest Moniz, Stanford University researcher Dan Reicher and former Deputy Energy Minister Elizabeth Sherwood Randall are also contenders for the post of Energy Minister. Apart from Murthy, North Carolina Health and Human Services Minister Mandy Cohen and New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham are also considered contenders for the post of Health and Human Services Minister.

20 Indians in Biden’s ATR team
Please tell that Biden has included more than 20 Indian people in his agency review team (ART). Three of them are leading the Indian team. This team will review the functioning of the major federal agencies in the current administration so that the transfer of power can be ensured smoothly. Biden’s transfer team said that this team has had the most diversity in the history of the presidential transfer team so far. The art team created for the transfer of power in America has hundreds of members of which more than half are women. 40 percent are from communities that have historically under-represented the federal government. These include non-white, LGBT and disabled. Rahul Gupta is leading the national drug control policy in this team. Kiran Ahuja has been given the command of the team made for personnel management.
