new Delhi. The American brand Skullcandy, which produces earphones, has introduced a new wireless earbud ‘spoke’ (spoke) during the festive season of Diwali. They can be used up to 14 hours after charging once. The company said in a release that these earbuds powered by Bluetooth technology have call and voice control feature. Along with this, the facility of dual microphone and on-off is also provided to accept calls.

“These earbuds with IPX-4 rating are sweat and water resistant,” said Amlan Bhattacharya, chief executive officer of Ice, the official distributor company of Skalkandi in India. Along with this, LED indicator has been given in the charging case of this earbud.

Talking about the design, the Skulkandi spokes feature a flat touch surface and silicone ear tips. The company says that users with Skullcandy Solo can use any of the earbuds separately and do not have to plug in both together for the function.

Earbuds connectivity options include Bluetooth v5.zero, and they provide frequency response up to 20KHz. The charging case includes a micro-USB port for charging and a weight of 57 grams with earbuds. The company said that it is available for online purchase from November 5. Its price is Rs 7,999. However, for a limited period on the festive season of Diwali, the company has priced it at Rs 2,999.
