According to Transion India CEO Arijit Talapatra, Techno ensures substantial presence and market share in the greater Indian region with our Spark series, which will focus on batteries, displays and cameras in the Rs 10,000-grade smartphone series.
“With the unique moving retail shop initiative, our goal is to expand our retail presence to smaller cities and towns in ambitious India,” Talapatra said.

Offline campaign running since 2017
Techno has been aggressively running offline business campaigns since 2017. Techno’s moving retail shop will reach more than 20,000 consumers in the first phase of the campaign. The D2D campaign, with more than 1,000 demonstration sessions, is helping retailers in 22 towns of western Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan to sell smartphones directly to consumers.
This moving shop will showcase six best-selling products from a wide range of techno’s portfolio, including Spark Go 2020 for Rs 6,499. Along with this, it has Spark-6 Air (two GB RAM plus 32 GB internal memory) for Rs 7,699, Spark Power-2 Air for Rs 8,499, Spark-5 Pro for Rs 10499, Camon-16 for Rs 11,499, Hipods H-2 Rs 1,699 and Minipod M-1 will be available for Rs 799.

According to the recently released Counterpoint third quarter report, Techno has strengthened its position as one of the top six smartphone brands in the Rs 10,000 affordable smartphone segment with new products launched under the Spark series.
