Whatsapp’s catchy trick! Get rid of unnecessary message notifications like this forever

On WhatsApp, many times we have to face trouble with the use of WhatsApp Chat Notification. In most of the cases this happens with groups, in which one keeps sending whatsapp message, and our phone keeps getting repeated notifications. Keeping this in mind, there is an option to ‘mute’ the chat on WhatsApp.

Although the option to mute chat for one year was available in WhatsApp, but it has been changed by ‘Always Mute’. That is, now we can get rid of unnecessary message notifications forever. In addition to ‘Always Mute’, ‘8 hours’ and ‘1 Week’ mute options have also been given. Let’s know about this new feature and how they are activated in Android and iOS.

How to activate this feature in Android>> To use the Always Mute feature, Android users must first open their WhatsApp.

>> Now you have to open the chat / group that you want to mute.

>> After this, tap on the three dots given above and select the Mute Notifications option.

>> here you will see three options. This includes ‘8 Hours’, ‘1 Week’ and ‘Always’.

>> So if you mute the notifications of a chat forever, select ‘Always’ and make OK.

How to activate ‘Always Mute’ iOS users
>> For this, first open the chat / group you want to mute in WhatsApp.

>> Now tap on the name of the chat. Here you will see the option of Mute.

>> Tapping on Mute here, the user will see three options – ‘8 hours’, ‘1 week’ and ‘Always’.

>> So to get rid of chat notifications forever, select ‘Always’.
